Northern Accuracy was created to educate people on how easy and fun it can be to participate in long range shooting. Our training staff are subject matter experts in the theoretical and practical application of rifle employment and ballistics. Our company is primarily designed to enhance senior shooters skills and abilities in the more advanced application of live firing activities. We now offers civilian classes to better educate people on the sport of long-range shooting, while enhancing their safety on the range. We are based in Townsville, Queensland.
Northern Accuracy is a veteran-owned and operated business. Our training staff are seasoned special forces instructors who have a rich history within the precision fire teams and instructional departments of their respective units. Our instructors have experience in both global and domestic operations; from partnering with operational teams of various Government organisations, to conducting train, advise, assist, and accompany kinetic missions with a partner force outside of Australia.
Malcolm joined the Australian Army directly out of school in 2004 into the Royal Australian Corps of Transport. In 2008 he was selected on the Commando Selection and Training Course to proceed on the Commando Re-enforcement Cycle within the same year. He was then posted into 4RAR (CDO); now the 2nd Commando Regiment based in Holsworthy, NSW.
Malcolm completed 10 years of service within the 2nd Commando Regiment and discharged from the Australian Army in 2018 to take up a Sniper Instructional position outside of Australia.

The approach to safety and methods to Northern Accuracy’s training has been developed through years of military instruction by making the most technical topics as simple as possible for all to understand. All courses, classes, and training are customized for the client’s current skill level, time frames, various weapon systems, equipment, and ammunition used.
